Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical exams and in-depth medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work alongside surgeons to devise and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide critical support during operations, ensuring the OR is prepared, patients are positioned correctly, and surgical instruments are smoothly handed over
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Background

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience with clinical rotations focusing on surgery is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
