\nOpportunity Overview:
\nCovenant Medical Group, in partnership with Covenant Health, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist or Endovascular Neurosurgeon to join our growing neurosciences and stroke program in Lubbock, Texas.
\nThis is an exceptional opportunity to join a collaborative, high-acuity neurovascular team serving more than 1.2 million patients across West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. The incoming physician will play a key role in advancing our comprehensive stroke program and expanding neurointerventional services throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Perform minimally invasive, image-guided neurovascular procedures, including: \n
- Mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke \n
- Aneurysm coiling and embolization \n
- AVM/AVF embolization \n
- Carotid and intracranial stenting \n
- Evaluate and manage complex neurovascular conditions, including stroke, cerebral aneurysms, AVMs, carotid artery disease, and intracranial stenosis \n
- Participate in stroke call coverage and acute stroke response \n
- Collaborate closely with neurology, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, and critical care teams \n
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical protocols, research, and program development \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school \n
- Completion of: \n
- Diagnostic Radiology residency with Interventional/Neurointerventional fellowship training or \n
- Neurosurgery residency with Endovascular Neurosurgery fellowship training \n
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in the appropriate specialty \n
- Eligible for Texas medical licensure \n
