What You'll Do

• Provide clinical leadership in behavioral and cognitive neurology within a multidisciplinary team.
• Offer expert patient care for adult and geriatric populations with neurodegenerative and cognitive disorders.
• Contribute to the development of the Center for Cognitive Health and participate in clinical research efforts.
• Teach and mentor medical students, neurology residents, and fellows.
• Support efforts towards reducing the burden of dementia and neurodegenerative diseases.
• Participate in educational activities, including conferences and community outreach.
• Collaborate with a dynamic research team actively engaged in translational studies.

What You Need

• Medical license in Michigan or eligibility
• Board certification or eligibility in neurology, with specialty focus in behavioral neurology preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience
• Strong leadership, research, and teaching skills

• Experience with clinical trials and research studies
• Ability to provide research and educational mentorship
• Experience working in academic medical environments

About the Assignment Henry Ford Hospital offers a highly regarded neurology department dedicated to advanced patient care, research, and education. The Behavioral Neuro team advances understanding of neurodegenerative diseases and provides leadership in clinical and translational research. This position supports a Level I trauma center, with outpatient and inpatient neuro services, emphasizing comprehensive, patient-centered care in a collaborative atmosphere.
