Administrative Associate for Parish (NE)

St. Margaret Parish, located in Bel Air, Maryland , is seeking a full-time, qualified Administrative Associate . The Administrative Associate will handle a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks and will work independently with little or no supervision. This role requires acute attention to detail and the ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Essential Functions

- Maintain the parish master facilities calendar.
- Facilitate the ordering of office supplies and ensure a smoothly running office environment.
- In collaboration with the Pastor, design and develop the weekly bulletin and send it to the printer.
- Manage the grant application process and keep staff apprised of progress toward approval.
- Write and complete grant applications.
- Provide required reports during and after grant submission.
- Monitor files for all parish grants.
- Ensure the SAM number is renewed annually.
- Manage and ensure that all employees and volunteers complete Virtus Child and Youth Protection training/programs.
- Maintain social media sites.
- Oversee the YouTube streaming channel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with the Pastor, other clergy, and staff, and to understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Ability to support the mission of the Catholic Church and the parish.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with parishioners.
- Demonstrated spirit of collaboration and the ability to foster that spirit in others, particularly office staff and volunteers.
- Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher.
- Ability to prepare letters, spreadsheets, and other documents as needed, as well as maintain databases when necessary.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
