We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teachers (ECSE) to support preschool-aged students across multiple school locations throughout the St. Louis area.

Required Qualifications

? Must hold Early Childhood Special Education Certification (Birth-Grade 3)

• ValidMissouriteachingcertificationinEarlyChildhoodSpecialEducation(B-3)

• ExperiencewritingandimplementingIEPs

• Knowledgeofbehaviormanagementstrategies

• Abilitytocollaborateeffectivelywithparaprofessionals,families,andeducationalteams

Position Overview

The Special Education Teacher will support preschool students ages 3-5 years old in an Early Learning Center (ELC) setting. The classroom serves approximately 20 students total , with separate morning and afternoon sessions. Teachers will provide both direct instruction and push-in support while helping students achieve their educational and developmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Providespecializedinstructiontopreschool-agedstudentswithvaryinglearningneeds.

• Develop,write,andmaintainIndividualizedEducationPrograms(IEPs).

• Manageacaseloadofapproximately 20+ students .

• Collaboratewithparaprofessionalsandclassroomstafftosupportstudentsuccess.

• Addressbehavioral,social,emotional,andacademicneedsofstudents.

• ParticipateinIEPmeetingsandcommunicatewithfamiliesandmultidisciplinaryteams.

• Monitorstudentprogressandmaintainrequireddocumentation.

• Createandmaintainapositive,inclusivelearningenvironment.
