What You'll Do

As a Shift Leader, you'll help lead the restaurant during your assigned shifts while creating an environment where both guests and team members can thrive.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading the team during assigned shifts and setting the example for great service and teamwork
• Providing fast, friendly, and accurate customer service
• Ensuring high-quality food is prepared and served according to Wingstop standards
• Coaching, supporting, and motivating Crew Members throughout each shift
• Assisting with training and onboarding new team members
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant
• Ensuring food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are followed
• Managing shift priorities and keeping the team focused during busy periods
• Assisting with opening and closing procedures
• Monitoring food quality, product levels, and overall restaurant execution
• Handling guest questions and concerns professionally
• Supporting inventory, product rotation, and waste control
• Communicating effectively with the General Manager and Assistant Manager
• Helping create a positive team culture where people enjoy coming to work

What We're Looking For

We're looking for leaders who:

• Have previous restaurant, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience
• Have leadership experience or are ready to take the next step into a leadership role
• Lead by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Enjoy coaching, encouraging, and developing others
• Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Communicate clearly and confidently with guests and team members
• Take ownership and accountability for their work
• Stay calm, focused, and solution-oriented during busy shifts
• Are dependable, organized, and ready to jump in wherever needed

Previous Shift Leader or supervisory experience is preferred, but not required. We're willing to develop the right person who has strong leadership potential and a desire to grow.

Requirements

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable attendance and transportation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Food safety certification may be required and will be provided through training if applicable
