What You'll Do

• Lead and deliver comprehensive neonatal care within a 35-bed Level III NICU
• Manage a high-acuity neonatal patient population averaging 25-29 infants daily
• Support approximately 370-400 NICU admissions and nearly 3,400-3,900 deliveries annually
• Perform advanced neonatal interventions such as high-frequency ventilation and therapeutic hypothermia
• Participate in well-baby rounding twice a month alongside the Family Medicine Residency Program
• Collaborate with a team of four Neonatologists with rotating coverage
• Work closely with 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage to ensure continuous patient care
• Engage with pediatric subspecialists including cardiology, surgery, ophthalmology, and MFM specialists
• Provide family-centered, evidence-based neonatal care within a regional referral center
• Support academic activities and clinical leadership within a well-resourced health system

What You Need

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• South Carolina medical license (or eligible upon application)
• Ability to manage high-acuity neonatal patients

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
