The Hotel Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within hotel accommodations. Working primarily with a small to medium-sized team, the housekeeper ensures guest rooms and common areas are spotless, well-stocked, and sanitized using a combination of automated and manual cleaning tools. While guest interaction is limited, supporting a pleasant guest experience through efficient and thorough housekeeping is essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and common areas following hotel standards
• Manage laundry operations ensuring timely collection and distribution of linens
• Restock room and cleaning inventories to maintain sufficient supplies
• Dispose of waste properly in alignment with safety and hygiene protocols
• Comply with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment
• Coordinate tasks effectively within a housekeeping team ranging from 1 to 15 members
• Operate automated cleaning systems, electric machines, and manual cleaning tools
• Provide limited guest service support as needed, maintaining professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in housekeeping roles
• Strong time management skills to handle tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail in cleaning techniques and ensuring high hygiene standards
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and their safe application
• Good customer service skills despite limited guest interaction
• Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks and operate equipment
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
