Occupational Health Registered Nurse Part‑time, 20 hours per week, long‑term contract opportunity with Yoh’s client in Moreno Valley, CA. Overview This clinic offers occupational and preventative care for employees. The role involves conducting new hire/routine medical screenings, medical surveillance exams, and keeping employees healthy and safe at their workplace. Shifts Flexible but must be 4 consecutive days, 5‑hour shifts (20 hrs per week: e.g., Monday‑Thursday or Tuesday‑Friday 8:30 am‑1:30 pm or 9 am‑2 pm). Top Skills You Should Possess Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California Previous experience in Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, School Nursing, or Corrections setting Recent clinical experience, strong first‑aid skills, and comfortable working autonomously Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, outgoing, and reliable What You’ll Be Doing Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns Ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc. Provide wellness materials/information (health promotion and disease prevention) Assist with delivery of the medical surveillance program Provide counseling, health education, and training programs Dispense OTC medications FMLA/CFRA/PDL medical certification review and approval Perform post‑offer, pre‑hire physical documentation review, delivery of onsite medical testing, and medical qualification program determination up to primary clearance Manage the return‑to‑work program Respond to medical emergencies and administer first aid to employees What You Need to Bring to the Table Required Certifications: BLS & CAOHC/COHC (hearing conservation/audiometry). Reimbursement available for the hearing conservation course but must be completed prior to starting.
