Registered NurseContinuumRx, the nation's leading specialty and home infusion therapy expert, is seeking registered nurses to add to our Columbus, OH team to provide care for our patients in the patient's home and/or in the infusion suite.Roles and ResponsibilitiesUses the nursing process to care for and/or educate individuals in the promotion and maintenance of health.Uses systematic critical-thinking to guide data gathering, assessment, nursing judgment.Responsible for coordinating and managing aspects of infusion nursing care as ordered by the physician.Delivers care in collaboration with the patient, their family and all members of the health care team.Submits required documentation of care within required time frame including initial assessments, visit encounters, patient education.Participates in interdisciplinary collaboration and communicates urgent clinical findings in a timely manner.Maintains annual competenciesMaintains privacy, security and confidentiality of patient, staff and organizational dataFosters a non-discriminatory work environment in which care and services are delivered in a sociocultural sensitive manner.Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision, while demonstrating strong work ethics to meet goals and provide stellar customer service to patients.Travel to assigned territory as needed with willing flexibility to meet patient needs.Availability for assisting with On-Call responsibilities, as needed. ("Taking Call/Being On-Call")Display neat, clean, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.Complete understanding of confidentiality with respect to Company proprietary information as well as information concerning patient/client care; complying with all federal and state laws as apply to confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and electronic protected health information (EPHI); and following HIPAA guidelines regarding readily identifiable protected health informationQualifications and ExperienceCurrent, active and in good standing registered nurse license in the state of employment.Experience administering infusion therapy in a home, hospital or clinical setting.Pediatric, ER, and/or medical surgical experience, a plus.Must have current CPR certification3-5 years experience in homecare is preferredMust be able to lift 10 poundsMust possess a valid Drivers LicenseMay be required to operate a motor vehicle in adverse weather conditions
