Inspector

Role Summary: In this role you will perform documented inspections in the verification of conformance of parts to applicable drawings, procedures, specifications and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The QC Inspector is responsible for the content of the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and project quality plan according to customer’s and Flowserve’s specifications and international standards. Besides, the QC Inspector is responsible for defining, advising and controlling all project required QC documents. The QC Inspector reports directly to the QC Supervisor/Manager. Responsibilities Documenting dimensional and visual inspections to the drawing or applicable procedures Documenting non‑conforming material utilizing an NCR (nonconforming materials) process Reviewing and verifying internal and external qualifications of suppliers, welders, NDE personnel with regard to Non‑Destructive Examinations (NDE), welding procedures and/or other applicable requirements Reviewing and approving supplier’s manufacturing and testing documents/procedures and taking care for approval (when required) of these documents by the customer, their customer and the authorized inspection body Preparing and defining test and inspection requirements for the required projects such as ITP and procurement specifications Performing any other duties assigned Requirements HS Diploma / GED and 3–5 years relevant experience Knowledge of welding, NDE and quality systems Knowledge of the established quality standards, laws and regulations of national and international authorities Must have knowledge of inspection equipment generally found in machining, assembly and test operations Flexible, eager to learn, accurate, analytical with positive, can‑do attitude Flexibility and willingness to travel Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical and presentation skills Problem‑solving skills Operational Excellence & High Level of Customer Service Preferred Previous manufacturing experience Effective utilization of CMMs is a plus Benefits Flowserve offers competitive pay, annual bonuses, medical benefits on day 1, generous paid vacation time, paid holidays, 401(k) and many other excellent benefits! #J-18808-Ljbffr Flowserve US Inc
