Litigation Associate Attorney

Litigation AssociateOur client is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join their team in Houston. As a Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in the defense and prosecution of complex litigation matters, conducting research, drafting pleadings and motions, and collaborating with senior attorneys to develop case strategy. Preference for maritime defense experience.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice law in the State of Texas or eligible for admission5 years of litigation experience in a law firm or government settingStrong research, writing, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience in a litigation-focused practice area, such as maritime defense mattersExperience with e-discovery and case management softwareCertification in a litigation-related area, such as mediation or arbitrationBilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
