Nurse Manager - (RN) Emergency Services

$20,000 Sign On Bonus Offered Position Summary The Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department is responsible for the daily clinical and operational leadership of a fast-paced acute care Emergency Department. This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting operational excellence, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance. The Nurse Manager oversees staffing, budgeting, quality improvement, patient flow, and collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide operational and clinical leadership for the Emergency Department. Plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services. Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and employee performance. Develop collaborative relationships with physicians, patients, and hospital leadership. Develop and implement departmental policies and best practices. Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Monitor department metrics, patient satisfaction, and throughput. Assist with budget preparation and fiscal accountability. Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's degree preferred. Current Texas RN or Multi-State Compact RN license. Current BLS certification. ACLS, AHA or ARC, ACLS and PALS within six months of hire. TNCC, ENPC or CEN within 18 months of hire. Minimum five (5) years of progressive nursing leadership experience. Preferred Qualifications (not Required) Emergency Department Nurse Manager experience. Experience managing high-volume Emergency Departments. Strong background in quality improvement, staffing, budgeting, and physician collaboration."
