Responsibilities

– Draw blood specimens from patients with professionalism and care, adhering to safety and accuracy standards – Assist healthcare professionals as needed during specimen collection and processing – Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transportation of specimens in accordance with protocols – Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to uphold safety standards – Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure positive experiences and accurate specimen collection

Required Skills

– Ability to work 40 hours per week, including 8-hour rotating shifts – Experience with performing blood draws and specimen collection – Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse patient populations – Ability to work effectively in a team and follow established procedures – Basic understanding of safety and infection control protocols

Additional Skills & Requirements

– Active Hawaii State License required – Must be able to work weekends and rotating shifts, including days and evenings – Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical laboratory setting preferred – Strong attention to detail and organizational skills – High school diploma or equivalent required
