Description

American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of OB/GYN and maternal fetal experience for a 13-week contract.

Details

Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Tech unit within Radiology/Cardiology
4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
No weekend or holiday requirements
No call requirements
No floating required within the primary facility, though travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities
Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience required
Current BLS, NT, and ARDMS OB/GYN certifications required
License required if applicable
Maternal Fetal and OB/GYN experience required
Skills in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scanning, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screen, placenta previa, and umbilical cord Doppler
Experience with fetal abdomen, abdominal circumference, bone lengths, cerebellum/ventricles, diaphragm, head, and heart imaging
Experience with amniocentesis and Doppler vascular studies preferred
Experience with GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system preferred
Experience in high risk OB and maternal fetal medicine settings preferred
Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE preferred
Experience with transvaginal, renal/pelvis, uterus, and vaginal imaging

Additional Information

Perform maternal fetal and OB/GYN ultrasound imaging and diagnostic procedures
Assignment includes 2-4 weeks of unit orientation
First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Former permanent employees of any Providence facility (other than the specific hiring facility) are eligible if separated for at least 3 months
All Providence facilities honor active compact licenses
Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this position
Minimal RTO requests preferred; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
