Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of diagnostic imaging and lab tests
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and handing instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-op care, which includes administering medications, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Required Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations that focus on surgical practices

Certifications

• Current and active PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant required
