This position will report directly to the President but will have exposure to the wider business teams. Interns will complete a capstone type project over the summer culminating in a presentation to business leadership.Key Projects:Support strategic assessment work:Uncover and assess customer needs and trendsExplore market, especially technology advancements and trendsCompetitive analysis (core and adjacent markets) including pricing,features, and benefitsAssessing company core competencies and gapsSupport VOC eventsSummarize key issues and opportunities gleaned from research and assessment workEngage in product lifecycle management exercisesSupport new product development projectSupport commercializing a new productSupport campaign development and communications planning effortsSupport digital marketing effortsSupport trade shows and customer event planningRequired Education and Experience:Pursuing a Graduate degree in [business, marketing, engineering] or related fieldRising junior or seniorStrong interest in applying [sales/marketing] knowledge to practical problemsAbility to comply with deadlinesProblem solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent organizational skillsInterest in technology and process improvementProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointNo previous experience requiredCertain peak periods may provide opportunity for overtime. This is a paid position. The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August.
