Highlights Pay: $43 - $43/hour Location: Akron, OH Facility: Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital Department/Unit: Emergency Department Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Provide direct nursing care. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing education and clinical nursing study. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) Experience External applicants: 2 years of recent related nursing experience Internal applicants: less than 2 years of experience, with post orientation/90-day probationary period considered with Chief Nursing Officer approval Licenses & Certifications Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within specified timeframes About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
