Job Title: Enterprise Communications Specialist II Status: Exempt Reports to: Director - Enterprise Communications Department: Enterprise Communications Job Code: 11240 Pay Range: $85,100.00 - $110,000.00 Annually Position and Purpose The Enterprise Communications Specialist II plays a key role in planning, creating, and delivering effective internal communications that support organizational priorities and employee engagement. This role is primarily aligned to supporting a range of Human Resources disciplines, including Benefits, Payroll, Time and Absence, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and Performance Management. The specialist translates complex people‑related topics into clear, employee‑centered communications, supports change initiatives, and helps ensure employees receive timely, accurate information that builds understanding, trust, and engagement. They work independently on assignments, collaborate closely with subject‑matter experts, and contribute strategic insight to communications planning and execution. What You’ll Do Strategic communications support Partner with business units to understand objectives and recommend appropriate communications, messaging, methods, timing, and channels. Lead internal communications planning, multi‑media campaigns, change initiatives, and operational communications from planning through execution. Adapt messaging and formats based on audience needs and channel best practices. Identify opportunities to improve clarity, engagement, or efficiency across communication channels and tactics. Content development and delivery Write, edit, and manage a range of internal communications including emails, intranet content, social media posts, video scripts, announcements, presentations, and talking points. Translate complex, technical, or ambiguous information into clear, employee‑centered messaging. Ensure content aligns with brand, voice, tone, and style guidelines. Manage content calendars, deadlines, and approval workflows with minimal oversight. Data, insights, and optimization Use engagement data and feedback to evaluate communication effectiveness. Contribute to reporting and analysis for internal communications channels. Recommend adjustments based on results and insights. Collaboration and influence Build strong working relationships with internal partners and stakeholders. Provide consultation and guidance on internal communications best practices. Support and review content developed by junior team members, as appropriate. Contribute ideas that improve processes, tools, or ways of working. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Preferences Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university, preferably with a focus in English, marketing, communications, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. 8+ years of communications experience, preferably in a financial services company. 3+ years supporting Human Resources communications, including HR programs, initiatives, and business processes.
