Step into an impactful and rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), covering a leave for the fall semester. Play a vital role supporting student communication skills in a collaborative school environment, working from August 2026 through November/December 2026.


With a manageable caseload averaging around 45 students and dedicated SLPAs on campus to assist, you'll have the support and resources to provide effective therapy. A consistent schedule, 30 hours per week Monday through Friday, allows for fulfilling workdays while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.


Desired qualifications and experience:

• Active licensure as an SLP-CCC or SLPA in California
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
• Commitment to serving a diverse student body with varying communication needs
• Exceptional collaboration and organizational skills; ability to work with other SLPAs and educational professionals
• Compassionate, student-focused approach

Core responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students on your caseload
• Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct student evaluations, write reports, and monitor progress
• Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and staff regarding student needs and growth
• Provide support and guidance to on-site SLPAs, ensuring high-quality services

This contract role offers competitive compensation between $90 and $93 per hour, reflective of your expertise and commitment.
