Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic General Manager to lead the operations at Steel District Restaurants. The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader who excels in managing people, overseeing daily operations, and driving business success while maintaining our core values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and exceptional guest experiences.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of employees to achieve high performance and morale.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, control costs, and meet financial goals, including labor and inventory management.
- Guest Experience: Promote a culture of hospitality, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Marketing and Community Engagement: Implement marketing initiatives and build relationships within the community to promote the brand.
- Problem-Solving: Address operational challenges with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role with 5 plus years in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and tools.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, labor cost control, and inventory management.
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering excellence.
