Assistant Maintenance (Non Certified)

Pay: $22-$23hr | Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8am to 5pm

Start Date: ASAP | Contract ‑ to ‑ Hire Opportunity

BG Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Spartanburg, SC 29615. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean and functional community, and can handle a variety of maintenance tasks with professionalism.

·         Role: Apartment Maintenance Technician

·         Location: Spartanburg SC

·         Pay: $22-$23/hr

·         Schedule: M - F 8am to 5pm

·         Start Date: ASAP

·         Opportunity Type: Contract‑to‑Hire

·        Complete work orders efficiently and professionally

·        Perform general maintenance tasks, including:

o   Basic plumbing repairs

o   Electrical troubleshooting

o   Appliance diagnostics and repair

o   Carpentry, drywall, and general upkeep

·        Assist with unit turns and make‑ready preparation

·        Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities

·        Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude

·        Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

·        Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred

·        Strong knowledge of general maintenance functions

·        Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently

·        Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented

·        Strong communication and customer service skills
