Litigation Paralegal

A growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in New Jersey is looking to add a skilled Litigation Paralegal to its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who enjoys a busy litigation practice, takes ownership of their work, and wants to contribute to a team focused on achieving strong results for its clients. The Litigation Paralegal will work directly with attorneys throughout the litigation process and play an important role in keeping cases organized, moving forward, and compliant with all applicable deadlines and court requirements. What You'll Be Doing Assist attorneys with personal injury matters from the litigation stage through resolution Prepare and coordinate the filing and service of complaints and other pleadings Assist with drafting, answering, and managing discovery requests and responses Prepare and track motions, court filings, and related litigation documents Maintain case calendars, scheduling systems, and critical litigation deadlines Monitor court orders and ensure required actions are completed on time Obtain medical records, bills, reports, and other documentation from providers and third parties Conduct basic legal research and assist attorneys with case preparation Keep case files accurate, organized, and up to date Communicate with attorneys, medical providers, courts, and other parties as needed What We’re Looking For 2+ years of paralegal experience , ideally within plaintiff-side personal injury Working knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court filing requirements Strong organizational skills and the ability to stay ahead of multiple deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing responsibilities Proficiency with litigation calendaring and case management Spanish fluency is highly preferred Dependable, proactive, and team-oriented work style Compensation & Benefits $65,000–$80,000 salary , depending on experience Full-time position Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off Paid holidays Professional development and advancement opportunities Collaborative team environment with opportunities to take on additional responsibility The Opportunity This role offers the chance to join a busy and expanding personal injury practice where your work will have a direct impact on both case outcomes and client experience.
