We are a top-performing quality hospital. We have over 300 of themost respected and qualified physicians in the area. We offer an AdvancedPrimary Stroke Center and a Cancer Care Center. Our services include open-heartsurgery and a wide range of specialties. We give advanced care to criticallyill patients. We offer emergency services at our main emergency room (ER). Wealso have a pediatric ER and two freestanding ERs. Together, our team has anunwavering conviction to improve more lives in more ways. Job Summary The Trauma Research Director promotes quality care throughthe coordination and development of research and education. The ResearchDirector promotes advancement of research and innovation in trauma and acutecare and is an expert in clinical research. What you will do in this role:
- Develop processes for monitoring and improving the financial performance and resource utilization of the Trauma Center.
- Perform strategic planning and coordinate optimal care of trauma patients across the care continuum.
- Coordinate efforts between local and regional trauma systems.
- Monitor clinical processes, outcomes, and system issues related to the quality of care provided.
- Develop quality filters, audits, and case reviews to identify trends and events.
- Design the trauma registry to facilitate performance improvement activities, trend reports, and research while protecting confidentiality.
- Manage the processes for verification and re-verification for the Trauma Center.
- 5+ years of recent (within the last year) acute care Trauma Leadership experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
