Job Description Summary General Welding Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Read blueprints and technical drawings to plan work Operate equipment like MIG, TIG, or arc welders safely Prepare metals by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces Inspect welds to check strength, size, and structural flaws Maintain tools and keep a clean, safe work area Requirements & Skills High school diploma or equivalent 1-5 years welding experience Welding certification preferred but not required Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift heavy items Safety compliance when wearing protective gear Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
