This role helps ensure production programs scale efficiently, stay on schedule, and meet business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support new product integration (NPI) activities from development through productionPlan and execute projects including budget management, tracking, and reportingDevelop and maintain the production Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)Align production schedules with program goals and operational prioritiesSupport capacity planning and production scaling effortsContribute to production and operations strategic planning initiativesIdentify, assess, and help mitigate program and operational risksSupport project proposals, cost estimates, budgets, and Basis of Estimates (BOEs)Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to support project executionProvide occasional weekend or off-hour support to maintain production schedule commitmentsTravel as needed, up to 25%Work EnvironmentFast-paced manufacturing and production-focused environmentFrequent collaboration with engineering, operations, production, program management, and business teamsCombination of planning, project execution, and operational support activitiesOccasional schedule flexibility required to support production needsBasic QualificationsTo be considered, candidates must meet all requirements listed:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing, production, operations, or logistics environmentExperience managing project or production schedules and coordinating work across multiple teamsExperience in manufacturing, operations, or project-based environments, with exposure to new product integration (NPI), budgeting and cost management, capacity planning, strategic planning, or risk managementExperience supporting project budgets, cost estimates, cost tracking, or Basis of Estimates (BOEs)Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPointAbility to travel up to 25% domesticallyAbility to provide occasional off-hours or weekend support when requiredU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearanceDesired SkillsNice-to-have skills that strengthen candidacy but are not required:Active Top Secret security clearanceExperience introducing new products into a manufacturing environmentExperience leading or supporting CAPEX projectsExperience with production scaling and capacity planningExperience supporting operational or manufacturing strategy initiativesExperience identifying, assessing, and mitigating project or operational risksExperience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Manufacturing Execution System (MES)Demonstrated knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques and principles, as well as work measurement and labor standardsExperience developing and executing customer level briefings and presentationsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
