Role Summary The Country Head – USA is responsible for building, scaling, and leading Jyoti CNC’s USA operations with full P&L ownership. This role is about organization building, discipline, execution, and long-term growth, not just sales. The Country Head sets the culture, governance, and performance rhythm for the entire USA business. Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities 1. Business & P&L Ownership Own complete USA P&L: revenue, gross margin, cost, working capital Define annual and quarterly business plans Ensure pricing discipline and profitable growth Drive service revenue and installed-base monetization Own full USA P&L: revenue, margin, opex, working capital, cash flow Build and execute annual/quarterly operating plan (growth, cost, capacity, coverage) Enforce pricing/discount governance and profitable mix Drive aftermarket/service growth (spares, service contracts, retrofits, uptime programs) Establish performance tracking: plan vs actual, corrective actions, lessons learned 2. Organization Building & Leadership Hire, develop, and lead Zone Heads and leadership team Build strong Sales, Applications, Service, and Operations culture Establish accountability, review cadence, and performance discipline Ensure right talent, right cost, right productivity Build and lead the leadership team (Zone Heads + Tech Center + Service + Ops + Finance) Create a high-performance culture: clarity of roles, accountability, cadence, standards Own leadership development: coaching, performance planning, evaluation, succession planning Ensure organizational design supports scale (territory coverage, service footprint, parts readiness) Partner with global HR/legal to ensure compliance with employment requirements and company values 3. Sales & Market Strategy Define go-to-market strategy (direct sales focus) Drive territory expansion and key account penetration Oversee funnel quality, forecasting accuracy, and conversion Manage strategic customers and high-value negotiations Define GTM strategy (direct + strategic partners where needed) aligned to global goals Drive territory expansion, vertical strategy, and key-account penetration Run a disciplined commercial rhythm: pipeline health, conversion, forecast accuracy, deal governance Own strategic negotiations and executive customer relationships Strengthen proposal/application capability: right solution, right risk, right margin 4. Operations, Tech Centers & Service Excellence Ensure strong coordination between Tech Centres and Central Warehouse Drive machine uptime, service response, and customer satisfaction Oversee inventory strategy, spares availability, and repair TAT Reduce repeat failures and improve reliability perception Ensure seamless coordination across Tech Centers, central warehouse, and field service Establish service operating standards: response time, first-time-fix, uptime, escalation protocol Build parts strategy: critical spares, stocking policy, inventory turns, repair TAT, obsolescence control Reduce repeat failures through structured root-cause, corrective actions, and reliability feedback loop Track execution performance and implement lessons learned (install quality, handover, repeat issues) 5. Governance, Reporting & Representation Establish weekly, monthly, quarterly performance reviews Report performance transparently to global leadership Ensure compliance with company processes and values Set the governance rhythm: weekly ops review, monthly business review, quarterly strategy review Report performance transparently to global leadership with clear actions/owners/dates Ensure adherence to Jyoti processes, ethics, and brand standards Represent Jyoti CNC externally: customers, industry events, strategic partners Drive employee engagement and customer satisfaction as explicit leadership outcomes 6) Performance Metrics (KPIs) USA revenue growth vs plan Gross margin and discount discipline Forecast accuracy Service revenue growth Inventory turns and cash discipline Team build-out, retention, productivity Revenue vs plan (new machines + aftermarket) Gross margin + discount compliance Forecast accuracy (monthly + quarterly) Installed-base monetization (service contracts / spares / retrofits) Service execution: response time, first-time-fix, uptime, repeat-failure reduction Working capital: inventory turns, AR/DSO, cash flow People: leadership team build-out, retention, capability development, engagement Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s in Engineering or Business (MBA preferred) 18–25+ years CNC machine tools / capital equipment Proven scaling USA organizations Strong commercial, operational, leadership capability Discipline, clarity, accountability leadership style 15–25+ years in CNC machine tools / capital equipment / industrial technology Proven success leading cross-functional functions (sales, applications, service, operations, finance) Demonstrated experience building/scaling a region or country organization Strong executive communication, operating cadence discipline, and customer-facing leadership Work Environment & Physical Demands Frequent exposure to tech center, warehouse, and customer manufacturing environments with hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals/coolants, heavy equipment, and automated/manual machinery.
