Vice President, General Manager & Campus Lead, Devens

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, General Manager & Campus Lead, Devens to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This senior operational leadership role will shape the long-range strategy for a major manufacturing campus and ensure it is positioned to support current and future pipeline needs. The leader will oversee drug substance operations, campus governance, shared services, and the integration of multiple business units into a unified operating model. This position will also drive safety, quality, compliance, and digital transformation across a complex, large-scale biologics environment. Location: Devens, MA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $330,690 – $400,722 annually Responsibilities Develop and execute long-range strategy for the campus in alignment with enterprise goals and pipeline plans. Oversee drug substance manufacturing operations to ensure reliable supply of quality biologics. Serve as Campus Lead, maintaining accountability for shared site services and governance structures. Lead the integration of biologics and cell therapy business units into a unified campus model. Champion safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across the campus. Drive the campus's digital transformation toward a smart, digitally enabled operating environment. Manage capital projects and improve operational processes through Lean and Six Sigma methods. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or a related field is required; advanced degree preferred. 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing, with leadership in large-scale biologics. Experience scaling new modalities into commercial production, especially in cell therapy, strongly preferred. Deep knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements; experience with regulatory inspections required. Expertise leading digital and AI-driven transformations in manufacturing operations. Strong leadership skills in cross-functional, multicultural environments. Proven track record managing complex organizational transformations and business integrations.
