Production Lead

Production Lead Job Location: Eugene/Springfield, OR Shift: Monday-Friday (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) Job Overview At Danone, manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Production Lead - Plant 3 based in Eugene/Springfield, OR. The Production Lead position is responsible for leading employees through organizing daily tasks and providing guidance and encouragement to produce the highest quality product. Works with a team of employees and ensures proper standard operating procedures are being carried out and plant and team goals are being met. Follows all safety procedures as stated in GMP, safety standards, plant rules, and code of conduct. Responsibilities Maintain a safe working environment, functioning as a member of a cooperative team and encouraging participation in leading safety work. Be responsible to conduct self and encourage coworkers to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with Company mission, values, code of conduct, and company policies. Coach and mentor employees with multiple skill sets and personalities and participate in training assessments with supervisor. Cooperatively work with cross-functional groups at all levels to solve problems. Ensure all production documentation is complete and accurate, convert relevant information into daily shift report and effectively communicate information to all relevant parties. Perform levels one and two preventive maintenances (PMs) as needed and oversee completion of all PMs performed by coworkers. Perform advanced level troubleshooting of all equipment to maintain production and operational efficiencies. Oversee and complete, as necessary, sanitation cleaning of all equipment.
