Principal Software Engineer - AI Infra

Salary: $114,600 - 234,600 per year Requirements:

• Strong programming ability in Python, Java, or TypeScript
• Experience working with Agile principles
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, including OCI, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Working knowledge of Linux and MacOS
• Scripting experience with Bash, Perl, or Ruby
• Exposure to containerization tools such as Docker
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs, API gateways, and API security solutions
• Familiarity with API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI
• Experience using AI-enabled tools and platforms such as chatbots, virtual assistants, or predictive analytics

• Work independently in ambiguous situations while following published standards and practices
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for cloud infrastructure components such as databases, applications, tools, and networks
• Help define and evolve software engineering standards and procedures, with an emphasis on AI-driven development
• Build software for application or operating system development and debugging, using AI and ML techniques
• Lead key initiatives, including spike detection for provisioning failures, Kafka integrations for near real-time repair actions, and automated ticket routing frameworks
• Use AI and ML to create tools that automate testing, simulate environments, and reproduce incidents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to accelerate dedicated initiatives and apply AI-driven insights
• Lead technical discussions across multiple teams to support integration and problem-solving
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise to support their growth
