Department Description

The laboratory teams at our organization are responsible for testing samples, including blood, body fluids, and tissue, to aid in the diagnosis of diseases, illnesses, or conditions requiring medical attention. Lab tests are processed for hospital inpatients and emergency room patients twenty-four hours a day. Additionally, testing is performed on outpatient and clinic specimens. All laboratories are licensed by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments Act (CLIA) and accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP).

Experience/Education/Qualifications

• Only candidates with Epic experience will be considered.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification is required.
• Completion of an approved Phlebotomy Training Program or at least one (1) year of recent phlebotomy experience is required.
• Phelbotomist Certification is preferred.
