Assistant Facility Manager

About the Opportunity:
Work with a leading organization in Midtown Manhattan as an Assistant Facility Manager supporting daily workplace operations and a major two-phase office relocation. This is a hands-on opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a positive employee experience across two active office locations during the transition.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
*Support daily facility operations, including maintenance, janitorial services, building systems, workplace services, vendor coordination, and employee service requests.
*Coordinate vendors, contractors, and building management while conducting site inspections and addressing operational or safety concerns.
*Assist with budgeting, purchase orders, invoice reconciliation, reporting, compliance, and facilities documentation.
*Support a two-phase office relocation, including move logistics, occupancy readiness, furniture installation, stakeholder communication, packing, and lifting; frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Required Skills & Experience:
*3+ years of experience in facilities, property management, workplace operations, or a related field.
*Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and facilities/work order management systems.
*Ability to manage priorities across two active and occupied office locations.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
*Associate's degree in Facilities Management, Business, Building Operations, or a related field.
*Experience supporting office moves, workplace transitions, or occupancy projects.
