Must-Haves: • 1-3 years' experience in tech support • In-depth knowledge of Windows OS, O365, MacOS, iOS, Android, TCP/IP based services (DHCP, DNS, networks (LAN/WAN, Wireless), and remote desktop tools. • Ticketing – they use ServiceNow • Strong documentation/procedural…identifying opportunities where there's gaps • Good communication skills

Physical Must-Haves: • Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb and twist up to 3 hours per day and sit for periods of up to 6 hours per day. • Requires the ability to lift and carry small items (0-5 lbs.) up to 6 hours per day and larger items (up to 50 lbs.) up to 3 hours per day. • Requires the ability to push and pull small items (0-10 lbs.) up to 6 hours per day and larger items (over 51 lbs.) up to 3 hours per day. • Requires the ability to grasp and manipulate with the hands for up to 3 hours per day and use a keyboard for up to 6 hours per

Job Description: A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Tech Support Specialist to sit onsite in Richardson, Texas. You will assist employees with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of computers, peripheral equipment, software, and audio/visual equipment. You will work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with computing equipment and software and assist internal business units with evaluating, testing, and implementing standard configurations, as well as troubleshooting and supporting tech system and software support to the client's business process. You will perform hardware equipment relocation as assigned and create and publish new documentation pertaining to previously undiscovered software/hardware issues in enterprise knowledge base. You will establish a presence on the floor guiding and educating users on processes and protocols for service delivery and using remote tools to manage a queue for user support. Pay range 22-24/hr
