About the role:

Reporting to the vice president of Corporate Accounts, the Manager, Corporate Accounts will develop and implement effective sales strategies and build relationships with influential clinical, administrative and economic decision-makers within targeted accounts. This role will engage extensively across franchises, translating business priorities and success factors into account strategies while collaborating closely with key internal and external stakeholders.

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

This role follows a field-based work model and requires the employee to be located in the Atlanta, GA area. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Serve as the key relationship owner and trusted adviser for customers within accounts with the greatest revenue potential.
• Partner closely with business unit directors and marketing managers to develop plans and objectives aligned with the national account strategy.
• Develop deep knowledge of assigned accounts, including operations, financial performance, organizational dynamics, strategic priorities, decision-makers and decision-making processes. Identify key accounts based on growth potential and areas where existing business must be protected.
• Build strong, sustainable relationships with key influencers, including CEOs, COOs and CFOs. Through discussion and analysis, understand and define their strategic priorities and needs.
• Develop and deliver transformative business solutions, offerings and services in collaboration with marketing and other internal stakeholders that are strategically significant to customers and difficult for competitors to replicate.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and actively participate in account discussions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, initiate and facilitate networks, share relevant account information and seek feedback to support excellence in account strategy execution and service delivery. Serve as an available and credible resource for other divisions.
• Maintain current industry, competitor and product knowledge. Continually gather insights from physicians, suppliers and other stakeholders to challenge, refine and prioritize key account strategies. Monitor industry trends and their impact on sales activities, partner closely with the health economics manager to accelerate or maintain funding for Boston Scientific products, and anticipate market and competitor developments.
• Foster an environment of mutual trust, respect and collaboration by sharing relevant information and identifying new ways of working to strengthen team performance.
• Coach and support the development of other team members as opportunities arise.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in sales management within the medical device or health care industry.
• Strong business, relationship management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical ability, accountability and results orientation.
• Demonstrated record of success or overachievement in previous sales positions.
• Ability to travel 75% or more.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree.
• Previous corporate or strategic accounts sales experience with integrated delivery networks (IDNs) within the medical device or health care industry.
• Cardiovascular sales experience.

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 , plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
