Maintenance Manager

Maintenance ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a proactive Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function for our manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Manager will ensure reliable, safe, and cost-effective operation of all mechanical and electrical equipment, drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with planning, budgeting, and team development to maximize equipment uptime and support production goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical and production support systems.Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary maintenance team, including hiring, training, performance management and scheduling.Coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime and support production schedules.Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting for complex equipment failures; implement long-term corrective actions.Plan and manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory and vendor relationships to optimize costs and availability.Implement and sustain Lean maintenance practices (5S, TPM, continuous improvement) to improve efficiency and reduce waste.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies and industry standards; conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.Develop metrics and KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, OEE) to monitor performance, prepare regular reports and drive datadriven decisions.Oversee capital projects and equipment installations, working with engineering and production to commission and validate systems.Qualifications5+ years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with handson experience maintaining production equipment.Experience with Lean methodologies, TPM, and continuous improvement tools; proven track record of implementing maintenance improvements.Proficient with CMMS systems and able to develop maintenance plans, schedules and spare parts strategies.Solid understanding of safety and regulatory requirements in industrial settings.Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills; ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders.Ability to analyze data and KPIs to drive reliability and cost improvements; experience with OEE, MTBF and MTTR preferred.Benefits- Medical Dental and Vision- 401k- Bonus opportunities!- Overtime opportunities!
