Status:PRN WorkShift:Days Hours: Varied - 4 hours every 2 weeks What Your Day Looks Like: Outpatient therapy at CMH f ocuses on individualized treatment programs designed to increase the quality and capability of patients’ lives. As aPhysical Therapy Assistant, you will be: Leading patients through strength, balance, and mobility exercises Providing manual therapies, stretching, and applying treatments like ultrasound or electrical muscle stimulation Communicating with patients and caregivers to provide clear directionson the use of rehabilitativedevices and equipment Preparing and sanitizing treatment areas, ensuring equipment is set up Monitoring and reporting progress, and documenting patientcare services with relevant and timely information Qualifications Education: Completion of aPhysical Therapy Assistant program with an Associate'sDegree from an accredited institution Skills: Patient care, problem-solving, customer service, and listening skills Licensure/Certification: Current Missouri Physical Therapy Assistant Certificate Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking, ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with patient and/or equipment assistance, ability to carry up to 35 lbs.
