Floating Assistant# Floating AssistantPlano Campus - Plano, TX 75093## OverviewPosition TypePart-TimeEducation LevelHigh SchoolCategoryAdmin - Clerical## DescriptionProvides administrative support to assigned department with flexibility to be reassigned to serve other departments to meet ministry needs at Prestonwood Baptist Church – Plano Campus (“PBC”).**Responsibilities:*** Provide clerical assistance to assigned ministry including:* Scheduling appointments* Answering telephones and responding to emails* Ordering office supplies* Other clerical and administrative duties* Submit purchase orders, check requests, and other required financial related items and ensure compliance with PBC policies* Understand the PBC church programming software to enter events, details, and work orders* Understand the PBC membership database as needed for the ministry* Run required reports and maintain files* Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed* Assist with special assignments and events* Respond to requests from ministry leadership, volunteers and prospects* Other duties as assigned## Qualifications**Requirements:*** Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC* Willingness to serve where needed* Excellent planning and organizational skills* Ability to juggle routine duties with changing priorities* Ability to work individually from a task list or in a team environment* Strong communication skills, both written and oral* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products* Ability to work a varied weekly schedule* Ability to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, occasionally perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 10 pounds without assistance #J-18808-Ljbffr Prestonwood Baptist Church, Inc.
