Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time position spans from ASAP through June 4, 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours weekly. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team to provide vital speech and language services, adapting your focus based on your expertise and the needs of the caseload.

Desired experience and qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience within a school setting
• Proficiency with assistive listening technology is essential
• Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student populations
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments to determine student needs and progress
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and local regulations
• Integrate assistive listening technology to enhance student access and participation
• Serve as a resource for staff on strategies to promote positive student outcomes
