This is a full-time contract opportunity, running from ASAP through June 4, 2027, with Monday through Friday hours totaling 37.5 hours per week. As an integral resource for students and staff, your expertise will empower learners to achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications:

• Current, active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience supporting children in school settings
• Strong knowledge of assistive listening technology and its integration in therapy
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a diverse student population
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, support staff, and families
• Utilize assistive listening technology and other resources to enhance student outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interventions and progress
• Provide education and consultation for staff and families to support generalization of skills across settings
• Adapt service delivery and caseload in response to students’ evolving needs
• Remain current on best practices and participate in relevant professional development
