Assistant Manager

We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented professional to support daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. In this role, you will help lead the team, maintain high standards for product quality and customer service, and contribute to a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities

• Assist with overseeing day-to-day store operations to ensure efficient service and consistent product quality.
• Support, coach, and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Help manage scheduling, labor coverage, and task delegation during shifts.
• Monitor food preparation, presentation, and safety standards to maintain quality and compliance.
• Address customer questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Assist with inventory tracking, ordering, and waste reduction efforts.
• Support cash handling, register accuracy, and daily reconciliation procedures.
• Help train new team members on procedures, service expectations, and operational standards.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding staffing, performance, and store needs.
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, retail, or a similar customer-facing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, or shift support experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible scheduling. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Comfortable supporting multiple priorities and adapting to changing needs.
• Basic understanding of food safety, cleanliness, and operational procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering a positive guest experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks common in food service operations.
