Customer Experience Assistant Manager – Scottsdale, AZ The Customer Experience Assistant Manager for our Scottsdale showroom location will build, lead and mentor a team of Concierges, Customer Experience Assistants, and Jewelry Consultants responsible for delivering exceptional service to Brilliant Earth customers. The team efficiently delivers a personalized showroom experience with fine jewelry customers. As the manager, you will foster a partnership and positivity environment, bias toward action, and commitment to the customer, helping the team exceed sales and customer experience goals and driving company growth. The ideal candidate will work a full‑time schedule Sunday to Thursday and will be on‑site at our Scottsdale showroom. The compensation budget for this role is $55,000‑$60,000, subject to adjustment. Key Responsibilities Recruit, train, and manage a high‑performing Customer Experience team focused on sales targets, KPIs, and luxury customer service. Maintain an efficient, highly functional showroom and office that meets high service standards. Guide customers through diamond selections and custom designs to create memorable, personalized experiences. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, ensuring team quality. Conduct in‑person appointments to present jewelry in our private showroom. Design and implement efficiency initiatives, policies, and procedures to continually improve the customer experience. Treat customer escalations in partnership with Operations and Customer Care. Collaborate with Workforce Operations Analysts to create and maintain a scheduling system that covers all duties and appointments. Maintain visual merchandising standards, including planogram upkeep, seasonal roll‑outs, decor, signage, and regular visual reviews. Collaborate across departments such as Operations, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Marketing, HR, and Customer Care. Specific Qualifications Experience managing people in retail, direct‑to‑consumer sales, store leadership, or keyholder roles. Proven track record of recruiting and growing high‑performing, accountable teams. BA degree or equivalent preferred. A passion for helping people and creating positive customer service experiences. Highly organized with a focus on execution, problem‑solving, and process improvement. Motivated self‑starter with high efficiency and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment. Exceptional time‑management skills and accountability. Team player capable of collaborative goal achievement. Robust CRM software experience. Entrepreneurial spirit and self‑starter mentality.
