California Licensed Attorney (Remote and Contract)

Latitude is seeking a California licensed litigation attorney to support a civil litigation law firm with offices in Northern California and Southern California on a part-time or full-time basis. This is a contract position. This opportunity is flexible without a specific hours requirement. The role is completely remote without any travel expectations.This is a great opportunity for a California licensed litigation attorney who is looking for either part-time or full-time work. The firm is looking for help on a variety of matters including employment, commercial and personal injury cases.Requirements:Experience working on employment, commercial and/or personal injury casesExperience with drafting and reviewing pleadings, written discovery, motions and hearingsOrganized, responsive, and well-suited to the pace and flexibility of engagement-based workAvailable approximately 20–40 hours per week depending on what works best for the candidateLicensed to practice law in California and in good standingJ.D. from an accredited law schoolOutstanding referencesPosition Details:Type of Role: EngagementSchedule: Part-Time or Full-TimeLocation: Remote (anywhere in United States but must be California licensed)Compensation:Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $175,000 - $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).Benefits: In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan.
