About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP, Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership in manufacturing and supply chain initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic manufacturing and supply chain initiatives that align with the company's long-term business objectives. This includes evaluating and optimizing the manufacturing footprint across multiple locations, leading transformational initiatives, and building new manufacturing operations and supplier networks. The role demands a proven track record in these areas, as well as the ability to work closely with executive leadership on strategic business decisions and to maintain strong customer relationships throughout periods of change. Candidates for the VP, Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an engineering degree preferred, and significant experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or related leadership roles. Key skills required include strategic manufacturing and operations planning, global manufacturing footprint analysis, and strong understanding of tariffs and geopolitical considerations. The ideal candidate will also have experience in continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing methodologies, and certifications such as Lean Six Sigma and PMP are a plus. The role requires a strategic thinker with a builder mentality, capable of leading through change and driving operational excellence. Strong executive communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
