- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and part drawings to plan layout and welding procedures.
- Operate CNC robotic welding machines to meet production standards.
- Perform grinding, sanding, and secondary work as needed between weld cycles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area and follow all housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to quality and safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with additional shop duties such as brake press operation or material handling during downtime.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience operating robotic or CNC welding machines preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Basic shop math and measurement skills required.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Regularly lift up to 25 lbs ; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs .
- Use hands to handle, reach, and position materials.
- Must have good visual acuity for detail work and weld inspection.
- Factory/manufacturing setting with exposure to moving machinery, loud noise, and airborne particles .
- Occasional exposure to chemicals and humid conditions .
- PPE provided and required at all times.
