Lead Math Teacher (Sign on Bonus for Experienced Educators)

Job Title: Lead Math Teacher Department: Academics Classification: Exempt Reports to: Principal Schedule: 10 Months Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, a Jesuit, college-preparatory, co-educational school for grades 9-12 seeks a Math Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The successful candidate will have a commitment to Catholic education and a willingness to work with a population of diverse learners. Additionally, the teacher is dedicated to developing the whole person in academics, religious growth, and commitment to others. The candidate will be responsible for teaching five sections within the Math department, subjects commensurate with experience and staffing needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in the subject area required; Master’s degree preferred Illinois Professional Educator License preferred (non-licensed applicants must be willing to obtain certification) Minimum of seven years of successful secondary-level teaching experience preferred Opportunity available to serve as Math Department Chair Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Alignment with the mission and values of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School and a demonstrated ability to effectively support the academic and personal growth of students Competencies Understanding of educational theory and practice. Compensation Commensurate with relevant teaching experience and established Faculty Compensation schedule.
