Biology Expert (PhD) - AI Training & Evaluation

**Pay: $80–$90 per hour**

We are seeking experienced **Biology Experts with a PhD** to contribute their subject-matter expertise to projects focused on improving and evaluating advanced AI systems.

In this remote contractor role, you will apply your knowledge of biology to evaluate scientific content, review AI-generated responses, and provide accurate, detailed feedback. Your expertise will help improve the accuracy, reasoning, and scientific quality of next-generation AI systems.

**No previous AI experience is required.** Your biology expertise, critical thinking, and ability to communicate scientific concepts clearly are the most important qualifications.

## Key Responsibilities

* Evaluate biology-related content for scientific accuracy and quality.
* Review and provide detailed feedback on AI-generated responses.
* Create and refine biology questions, scenarios, and explanations.
* Identify scientific inaccuracies, gaps, ambiguities, and reasoning errors.
* Apply expert knowledge to complex biological concepts and real-world scientific problems.
* Provide clear written explanations and scientific reasoning.
* Help improve the quality and reliability of AI training and evaluation data.
* Work independently and consistently meet project requirements.

## Required Qualifications

* **PhD in Biology or a closely related life science discipline.**
* Strong knowledge of core and advanced biological concepts.
* Experience critically evaluating scientific information or research.
* Strong scientific writing and communication skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* High attention to detail and scientific accuracy.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with scientific research or academic publications.
* Experience reviewing scientific literature or research data.
* Experience in interdisciplinary scientific projects.
* Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or technology projects is a plus but **not required**.

* Compensation based on project and task requirements.
* **Advertised pay range: $80–$90 per hour**, where applicable to the project and engagement structure.
* Work availability and task volume may vary based on project needs.
