Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care

Registered Nurse – Nursing

Schedule: Nights: 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. Must be willing to float to units where experienced.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• 3+ years of current experience (must be within the last 6 months)
• IV certified (must be willing to obtain during onboarding if not certified)
• COVID Vaccination Required (Declinations/Exemptions not accepted)
• Active license and certifications at time of submission
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be accepted

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Observe residents continuously, noting changes in mental and physical health; report significant observations to the Supervisor.
• Receive and communicate detailed reports on residents' status during shift changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, documenting accurately.
• Supervise and manage the nursing care provided by licensed nursing assistants (LNAs) and assist where necessary.
• Perform admissions, discharges, and transfers while completing necessary documentation.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding resident care and treatment updates.

Compliance / Notes:

• All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted with the initial presentation and cannot exceed 5 days (Holidays not approved).
• Background checks and drug screens are part of the hiring process.
