Join us. We are seeking a Sr Process Leader, Finance (Sr Accountant) to support our Finance Department. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the close cycle and day-to-day general ledger transactions. You will ensure that general ledger transactions and financial statements are accurate, reported timely, and completed in accordance with US GAAP. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work effectively across diverse teams in a manufacturing environment. Associate will perform the summarized jobs listed below.Additional ResponsibilitiesManage the preparation of inputs for financial statements, supplemental information, and corporate submissions on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basisEnsure accurate balances for assigned balance sheet accounts and research and resolve issues and discrepanciesManage project subledger activities and work closely with Engineering to ensure accurate CIP accounts and capital reportingOversee the intercompany confirmation processServe as the subject matter expert for general ledger-related activities, accounting systems, financial information, and analysisDrive continuous improvement projects within the General Ledger teamAnalyze and review corporate procedures and controls to ensure the team is following established guidanceFacilitate communication and provide responses to internal and external audit teamsAnalyze and resolve difficult problems effectively and timely through the implementation of long-term solutionsEffectively negotiate and resolve conflictFoster collaboration, inspire confidence, and motivate individuals across diverse teams in a manufacturing environment to meet objectivesMaintain regular, in-person attendanceWork in an office setting with exposure to operational facility environmentsJob RequirementsPref Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or equivalent experienceMinimum five (5) years of accounting experience with progressively increasing responsibilitiesCPA is a plusSkillsHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordStrong working knowledge of general accounting, monthly close processes, and US GAAPExpertise with ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS/HyperionStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsEffective interpersonal, leadership, written, and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail, organization, time management, and prioritization skillsWe thrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
