Billing Specialist | Orlando, FL Job Description Assist the Controller with pharmacy billing and data entry. This role can progress into an Accounts Receivable (AR) position. Responsibilities Assist with pharmacy billing and data entry. Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional interpersonal relationships. Perform tasks with great attention to detail and accuracy. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and billing purposes. Handle tedious tasks efficiently. Think independently and demonstrate common sense in problem-solving. Essential Skills Experience in billing customer service. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Strong data entry skills. Excellent communication and people skills. Ability to work with tedious tasks. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Professional demeanor in the workplace. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Practical common sense. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in pharmacy or medical billing. Experience in Long Term Care (LTC). Experience with life/health insurance and Medicare Advantage. Skills in reconciliation, month-end closing, and bookkeeping. Reliable and dependable. Attention to detail. Pleasant and clear voice. Bilingual skills are a plus, but no heavy accent. High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business preferred. Work Environment In office - Long Term Care Pharmacy. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
