Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards Functional Consultant with a strong background in the Manufacturing module to join our growing team. This position will involve working closely with clients to analyze, design, and implement JD Edwards solutions that enhance business operations and drive efficiencies in the manufacturing and distribution sectors. A techno-functional skillset is highly desirable for this role.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, specifically in manufacturing process, and will be responsible for leading requirements gathering, solution design, and providing functional support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation : Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, focusing on manufacturing and distribution processes to design and implement JD Edwards solutions that drive business efficiency.
• Implementation & Configuration : Lead the configuration of JD Edwards modules related to manufacturing (e.g., work orders, production scheduling, inventory management, shop floor control)
• Functional Support : Provide day-to-day functional support for JD Edwards systems, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and end-user training.
• Process Optimization : Advise clients on best practices, process improvements, and automation opportunities to streamline operations in manufacturing and distribution environments.
• Customization & Reporting : Define and support the creation of custom solutions, reports, and dashboards to meet client-specific needs.
• Integration Support : Support the integration of JD Edwards with third-party systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and workflow.
• Documentation & Training : Prepare functional documentation, system specifications, and user manuals. Conduct user training sessions to ensure adoption and efficient use of JD Edwards solutions.
• Collaboration with Technical Teams : Work alongside technical consultants to ensure that functional requirements are aligned with system capabilities and deliverables. A techno-functional understanding will be key in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Experience :
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, specifically in Manufacturing module (work orders, production scheduling, inventory management, shop floor control).
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting JD Edwards solutions in manufacturing environments.
• Techno-functional experience is a strong plus-ability to work with technical teams to customize and enhance JD Edwards systems.
• Experience with Orchestrator also a plus but not required.
• Skills :
• Strong understanding of JD Edwards modules and their integration with other business functions.
• Experience with data migration, process automation, and system integrations within the JD Edwards ecosystem.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards' reporting tools (e.g., BI Publisher, EnterpriseOne Reports).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with client-facing roles, requiring the ability to manage client expectations and drive project success.
• Ability to write SQL is ideal.

• Certifications (Preferred) :
• JD Edwards certifications (e.g., JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manufacturing, JD Edwards Distribution) are a plus but not required.
